Lakes Region Big Band
An evening of music and dancing with casual appetizers
(Limited table seating; advance ticket purchase recommended)

The Lakes Region Big Band is a full 20 piece Big Band based in Central NH. Started by a group of local musicians looking for an opportunity to play this great style, they have since been joined by past members of professional touring Bands and other professional NH musicians who love the vibe that this group puts out. Their high level of performance and energy has catapulted them into regular performances in the region and strong demand at events around the state. With a repertoire ranging from the swinging standards by bands like Glen Miller and Tommy Dorsey to the hard driving styles of Basie and Buddy Rich, to contemporary charts by Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band, the Lakes Region Big Band truly embraces everything you'd expect from a real, big, band. Hear the sounds of the Lakes Region Big Band here.

Taylor's Grove

Veteran country music performer Mac McHale and old-time gospel singer Carolyn Hutton bring a bit of the North and South together in a duo called "Taylor's Grove." Taking the name from the little North Carolina church where Carolyn grew up singing with her family, Mac and Carolyn perform together simple old-fashioned American music that reaches across barriers of place and generation.  With guitar, mandolin, banjo and harmony singing, they bring together songs Mac learned from country radio in the 30's and 40's  and songs Carolyn heard in the North Carolina Piedmont.  Come spend an evening with Mac and Carolyn. Listen to an audio clip here.

Tuckermans at 9 — a cappella band

Tuckermans at 9 performs well-known pop, rock, blues, and light jazz favorites from as far back as the 1920s, but mostly music of the 1960s to today. “Audiences of all ages enjoy our shows …,” explains Miller. “But because we choose songs that are just plain good, well-written songs, people really get into things they might not necessarily know, at least at first. We also have a lot of fun on stage, and it’s contagious for the audience!” Tuckermans at 9's original, high-octane arrangement of the Temptations' classic Motown anthem, "I Can't Get Next to You", received praise from judges at the 2009 Harmony Sweeps a cappella competition at Tufts University in Massachusetts.
